To avoid overcollage phenomena and to obtain optimal clarifications, it is recommended to carry out prior clarification trials in order to identify the optimal dosage.
Appearance: gray-colored, odorless powder.
ALEABENT C is an activated sodium-calcium bentonite, characterized by significant dispersing power, low scum and good deproteinizing power. It is particularly suitable where a higher sedimentation rate is required in conjunction with excellent clarifying power.
Thanks to its negative surface charge, it carries out an adsorption action towards positively charged colloidal substances, favoring their elimination by pouring or filtration.
Activated sodium calcic bentonite
ALEABENT C can be applied to musts and wines in order to decrease protein content and improve product stability, without adversely affecting the organoleptic characteristics of treated wines.
When used in fermentation, it promotes lees compaction and has an inhibitory action on oxidative enzymes (laccase and oxidase) that can compromise the regular fermentation progress and the quality of the finished product.
ALEABENT C is particularly advantageous in terms of speed of preparation during the processing stages of wines and musts
Dissolve ALEABENT C in water, at a ratio of 1:10, taking care to dissolve the product well. Allow to swell for 1-3 hours then add to the mass slowly and evenly, during an indoor reassembly using a metering pump or venturi tube.
