Aleastab ACID LT
L(+)-Tartaric Acid (E334) and L-Lactic Acid (E270) for oenological use.
Appearance: Clear Liquid
Aleastab ACID LT It is used for the correction of acidity in musts, wines and occasionally for the passivation of concrete tanks and containers.
Caution: May cause tartaric precipitation.
100 g/hL of Aleastab ACID LT increases total acidity by 0,64 g/L expressed as tartaric acid (an addition of 78 g/hL increases total acidity by 0,50 g/L).
The acidity produced per mg/L refers to the values of the components, which means that the possible salitization of the destination wine/must is not considered.
It is recommended to perform addition tests to optimize results.
In the EU, it is permitted to acidify musts and wines with tartaric acid together with L-lactic, L-malic and DL-malic.
If other organic acids are used in the same must or wine, it is necessary to calculate the maximum quantity of tartaric acid that can be used within the limits set by the regulation.
Outside the EU, please refer to applicable laws.
Add Aleastab ACID LT directly onto the must or wine to be treated and mix until any lumps have completely disappeared.
Do not mix with alkaline products.
Acidic and corrosive product, the operator must use gloves and a mask for handling.
Read the product SDS before using.
