E 270 Lactic Acid in 80% solution, for food and wine use.

Applications

THELactic acid It is used to correct the acidity of wines, drinks in general, ice creams, confectionery products, sauces, fruit juices and syrups.

Thanks to its excellent acidifying capacity, it is used in much of the food industry as a pH corrector and as a color stabilizer.

Recommended Dosages

All limits reported here refer to Reg. (EC) No. 606/2009 – Reg. (EU) 2019/934 (applied from 7 December 2019). This regulation provides for the possibility of acidifying musts and wines with L-malic acid together with tartaric acid, L-lactic acid and L-malic acid. If other organic acids are used in the same must or wine, it is necessary to calculate the maximum quantity of L-malic acid that can be used in compliance with the limits set by the regulation.

Instructions for Use

Add theLactic acid directly into the mass to be treated, homogenizing carefully.
