Aleasol RAPID
DUST
E224 Potassium Metabisulfite (60%), Dibasic Ammonium Phosphate (22%), Ammonium Sulphate (18%).
Appearance: white homogeneous powder, with SO odor2
ALEASOL RAPID acts as a fermentation regulator, enhancing the action of selected yeasts and inhibiting wild yeasts. The antimicrobial action of metabisulfite and the correct nutrition of yeasts guaranteed by ammonium salts prevent any fermentation arrests.
The use of ALEASOL RAPID it is particularly recommended in cases where the phytosanitary state of the grapes is not optimal.
From 10 to 25 g/hl, depending on the phytosanitary state of the grapes.
Be careful not to exceed the legal limits for sulphur dioxide content.
The current Community legislation specifies the following limits, expressed as total SO2:
a) 160 mg/l for red wines;
b) 210 mg/l for white and rosé wines;
c) 185 mg/l for quality sparkling wines and VSQPRD
d) 235 mg/l for sparkling wines.
For non-sparkling wines with a residual sugar content, expressed as invert sugar, equal to or greater than 5 g/l, the limits become the following:
a) 210 mg/l for red wines;
b) 260 g/l for white and rosé wines.
1 g of ALEASOL RAPID provides approximately 3 mg/l of SO2.
Dissolve the ALEASOL RAPID in water, in a 1:10 ratio, then add it to the mass to be treated, homogenizing carefully.
