LIQUIDO
Pure aqueous solution of potassium bisulfite at 15% W/V in SO2.
Appearance: clear, pale yellow solution with a slight odor of sulfur dioxide.
ALEASOL 15 It is a liquid sulphiting agent containing potassium bisulfite.
ALEASOL 15 It is indicated for the final additions of sulphur dioxide to the wine, particularly in the case of automatic in-line dosing before bottling.
Add in variable doses, as needed, taking care not to exceed the legal limits relating to sulphur dioxide content.
Reg. (EU) 2022/68 specifies the following limits, expressed as SO2 total:
STILL WINES
a) 150 mg/L for red wines
b) 200 mg/L for red wines with residual sugar content (glucose + fructose) ≥ 5 g/L
c) 200 mg/L for white and rosé wines
d) 250 mg/L for white and rosé wines with residual sugar content ≥ 5 g/L
e) 250 mg/L or higher for certain categories of sweet wines (Annexes IB)
SPARKLING WINES
a) 200 mg/L quality sparkling wines and VSQPRD
b) 235 mg/L for other sparkling wines
For LIQUEUR WINES
a) 150 mg/L if the sugar content is < 5 g/L
b) 200 mg/L if the sugar content is ≥ 5 g/L
10 mL/hL of ALEASOL 15 provide 15 mg/L of SO2
