Pure Potassium Sorbate
Appearance: colourless and odourless spherical granules.
Granulated product, very pure with fungistatic action (E 202)
The high degree of purity ensures the absence of abnormal odors typical of the raw material. POTASSIUM SORBATE It is a product capable of providing biological stability to wine, thanks to its fungistatic effect. It is a valid antiseptic that can be used in various food products.

the use of POTASSIUM SORBATE It is also recommended in wines with residual sugar, so as to avoid any unwanted refermentations in the bottle.
To obtain optimal action of the POTASSIUM SORBATE it is advisable to combine the product with a limited quantity of SULFUR DIOXIDE and carry out STERILE FILTRATION, so as to avoid any oxidation or prevent catabolism by lactic bacteria on sorbic acid, avoiding the formation of abnormal aromas.
When using Potassium Sorbate, comply with the applicable laws in force.

WARNING: 27 g/hL of POTASSIUM SORBATE They provide the wine with approximately 200 mg/L of sorbic acid (legal limit), and approximately 70 mg/L of potassium.
Dissolve thePOTASSIUM SORBATE in water, in a ratio of 1:5, mixing until any lumps have completely disappeared, then add to the mass being reassembled and mix thoroughly.
Potassium sorbate should be used in the presence of sulphur dioxide (free SO2, approximately 25-40 mg/l).
Do not use after 1 hour of preparation.
