GRANULAR
Activated sodium bentonite granular
Appearance: grey, odourless powder.
ALEABENT GRANULAR It is a sodium bentonite with a high swelling capacity in contact with water. Thanks to its negative surface charge, it performs an adsorption action on colloidal substances with a positive charge, promoting their elimination by decanting or filtration.
ALEABENT GRANULAR It can be applied to musts and wines, in order to reduce the protein content and improve the stability of the product.
Its use in association with other clarifying products allows to obtain a high degree of cleanliness, improving the filterability of the treated products.
If used in fermentation it promotes the compaction of the lees and has an inhibiting action on oxidative enzymes (laccase and oxidase) which can compromise the regular fermentation process and the quality of the finished product.
30-100 g/hl on wines and musts, depending on the desired action.
To obtain optimal clarifications, it is advisable to carry out preliminary clarification tests in order to identify the optimal dosage (for example by checking protein stability).
Dissolve the product in water, in a ratio of 1:15, taking care to dissolve it well. Leave to swell for 6-12 hours then add to the mass slowly and homogeneously.
