Aleaclar PG
DUST
PVPP, Silica gel
Appearance: white-grey powder, odourless.
Aleaclar PG It is a complex adjuvant for clarification and filtration, in which the adsorption characteristics of PVPP are significantly improved thanks to the synergistic effect with a specific Silica Gel. The balanced proportion between the components also allows for improved product dispersion and homogeneity, improving treatment efficiency.
Aleaclar PG acts selectively on the unstable polyphenolic fraction, in particular on catechins, and on oxidized polyphenyl complexes. It is not very active in the adsorption of anthocyanins, especially if combined, allowing a rational and minimally invasive use on red and rosé wines. The adsorption products of polyphenols are totally insoluble and are therefore completely separated during filtration.
Aleaclar PG It reduces the astringency and hardness of the treated wines, highlighting their positive organoleptic characteristics both at the olfactory and gustatory level.
PREVENTIVE TREATMENT: reduction of the content of catechins and in general of reactive – oxidizable polyphenolic compounds which are a source of instability.
WHITE WINE CURATIVE TREATMENT: selective removal of oxidized substances, allowing to improve the color and in many cases to restore the green reflection.
HEALING TREATMENT FOR ROSE AND RED WINES: specific removal of the polyphenolic components responsible for the yellow-brown colour and which therefore modify the shade towards orange notes without interfering with the red-purple component.
Preventive treatments 10-20 g/hL
Curative treatments 20-80 g/hL
MAX EU dose 110 g/hL
